Pretty long story, but I'd like to think it's a good one worth a read.
( Probably the most awkward moment of my life )

Anyways, Heroes. So just let me make my opinion on Heroes clear:
Heroes Season 1 - Just phenomenal. One of the best seasons of any TV show ever. I immediately fell in love with the show after the first episode, and I ended up watching the first 16 episodes in two days. So many quality episodes that season. "Company Man" and "Landslide" are just some of the best episodes of entertainment, ever. After the end of the first season, I was declaring Heroes the best thing ever made. Loved it unbelievably.
Heroes Season 2 - My love for the first season kind of blinded me in the first couple episodes, making me declare them better than they really were. But once I took a good look at it, I realized just how much of a disappointment it was compared to season 1. By episode 6, I pretty much started losing faith. But episode 7 till the finale was kick-fucking-ass. The episode where Noah and Bob do the exchange for their daughters - "Cautionary Tales" - is up-there with the best episodes of season 1. And the finale was extremely excited and I love the note it ended on. It seemed that season 3 had the possibility to be on-par with season 1 with the exciting story-lines building up.
Season 3 - Well, Volume 3 specifically. Volume 3 was worse than Volume 2. With the exception of episodes such as "Our Father" and that one episode where Sylar and Peter duke it out in the Level 5 prisons, everything else pretty much blew ass. It was an incredibly disappoint. And it was a shame that Arthur Petrelli was snuffed out by Sylar, because he was easily the best new thing from volume 3. Well, him and the African future-seer. But he got a dirt nap too.
So here we are with Volume 4, chapter 1. I came in with extremely low expectations. And after watching it, I was extremely pleased with what I had just watched. It was just honestly a very good episode through and through. It was intense, every character had a good moment, most of the conversations seemed well-written, and it ended on a pretty suspenseful note. And I couldn't help to think through-out most of the episode "Wow, this really feels like Season 1." A great feeling it was.
I'm just hoping that the rest of the volume manages to end up being as well-made as the premiere. I have said that so many times, and ended up being disappointed every single time. The writers never-live up to the expectations they set-up. Please, don't screw up again.
That's enough Heroes talk for now. Any Heroes fans who read this, take the time to comment and let me know what you think of the current state of the show.
Until next time...
