Awkward moment that I posted in the community alittleawkward. Read if you wish!

Pretty long story, but I'd like to think it's a good one worth a read.

Probably the most awkward moment of my life )

Gotta love Free For All Friday on ONTD! First time participating in it despite the fact I've visited the community for a long time now. Really great way to make some new LJ pals, which I did. If you're reading this, hello fancyxthat, karasumaa, spuffy_girl, sylarsexual, and lovetake_over! :D Oh the power of entertainment and it's ability to bring people together! Should have joined in FFAF a whole lot earlier. Can't wait for next week's!

Anyhoo, guess that's it for now. I never blogged about the latest episode of Lost, Little Prince. (Spoilers ahead for anyone who hasn't seen it) Guess that's because it wasn't as...mind-blowing as Jughead or the premiere(Who DIDN'T see Jin coming back?). And well, it was a bit too Kate-centric for my tastes. But a solid episode nevertheless. Just how awesome were the cliffhangers for the off-island and on-island stuff? And I love how both revolve around Sun and Jin. Glad to have that bad-boy back.

Hope next week has more Desmond. He's hands down the best character in the show(well, him and Michael Emmerson, who rips it up in every scene. Who didn't chuckle when he said to Sayid "He's my lawyer." or when he tells Jack "Oh, Kate's right. It's me."? Love him!). And since Desmond is going to fly into LA with Penny, I wonder if Ben is going to follow up to the thread he told Charles Widmore back in Season 4 - "I'm going to kill you daughter." Ben and Desmond in the same scene is going to make me go WILD. What a show. What a cast.

All right, that's all for now. If anyone has seen the latest episode of Lost, let me know what they thought of it in the comments.

Until next time...

I'm a bit of a TV junkie, so I think you'll see post maybe once or twice a week about a show, depending on how awesome it is. I ccan guarantee that you'll see one post about Lost every week, because every episode in the beginning of season 4 has been absolutely, mind-blowingly awesome. And from the first 3 episodes of Season 5, it seems like it'll be even better. I mean, seriously, how awesome Because You Left? And Jughead? God, too good.

Anyways, Heroes. So just let me make my opinion on Heroes clear:

Heroes Season 1 - Just phenomenal. One of the best seasons of any TV show ever. I immediately fell in love with the show after the first episode, and I ended up watching the first 16 episodes in two days. So many quality episodes that season. "Company Man" and "Landslide" are just some of the best episodes of entertainment, ever. After the end of the first season, I was declaring Heroes the best thing ever made. Loved it unbelievably.

Heroes Season 2 - My love for the first season kind of blinded me in the first couple episodes, making me declare them better than they really were. But once I took a good look at it, I realized just how much of a disappointment it was compared to season 1. By episode 6, I pretty much started losing faith. But episode 7 till the finale was kick-fucking-ass. The episode where Noah and Bob do the exchange for their daughters - "Cautionary Tales" - is up-there with the best episodes of season 1. And the finale was extremely excited and I love the note it ended on. It seemed that season 3 had the possibility to be on-par with season 1 with the exciting story-lines building up.

Season 3 - Well, Volume 3 specifically. Volume 3 was worse than Volume 2. With the exception of episodes such as "Our Father" and that one episode where Sylar and Peter duke it out in the Level 5 prisons, everything else pretty much blew ass. It was an incredibly disappoint. And it was a shame that Arthur Petrelli was snuffed out by Sylar, because he was easily the best new thing from volume 3. Well, him and the African future-seer. But he got a dirt nap too.

So here we are with Volume 4, chapter 1. I came in with extremely low expectations. And after watching it, I was extremely pleased with what I had just watched. It was just honestly a very good episode through and through. It was intense, every character had a good moment, most of the conversations seemed well-written, and it ended on a pretty suspenseful note. And I couldn't help to think through-out most of the episode "Wow, this really feels like Season 1." A great feeling it was.

I'm just hoping that the rest of the volume manages to end up being as well-made as the premiere. I have said that so many times, and ended up being disappointed every single time. The writers never-live up to the expectations they set-up. Please, don't screw up again.

That's enough Heroes talk for now. Any Heroes fans who read this, take the time to comment and let me know what you think of the current state of the show.

Until next time...

Is it just me, or is there a distinct lack of respect and manners among kids in school nowadays?  Every day in school I find myself just absolutely disgusted with the way some of my classmates would treat me or someone else. It's especially annoying when I see such behavior coming from people who I consider my friends. It's the little things that get me sometimes - A lack of a thank you after a kind gesture, or a total mistreatment of someone else's property.

And then there are those times I've just been speechless when I see someone. or myself, being completely disrespected for no reason whatsoever. I found myself in such a situation yesterday, during a student council meeting. I admit, I can be an eccentric person at times which could lead to someone getting annoyed with me, but some things are just uncalled for no matter what. A certain person couldn't help to throw in an insult at the end of every sentence that was directed towards me. I'm not the one who gets offended by insults(for the most part), but I am person who hates to be disrespected(unless I legitimately did something worth being insulted for). It got on my nerves. But being the person I am, I acted normal and as if it didn't bother me. I spoke to this person with the respect I give any human being, despite the fact I was being treated with zero respect.

I wonder - What's the point in giving such people a respect they clearly don't return? With the exception of some feelings of resentment towards the person, I get nothing out of it, don't I? These thoughts cross my mind all the time. But nevertheless I stick to acting polite. I stick to acting the way I was raised to act. If I don't, who will?

Speaking of being raised to act with respect and manners, is the reason why I see people in school acting as if they haven't heard of such concepts because they weren't raised that way? Are there parents to blame for their children's lack of good, behavior? If so, then it'll be a bit hard to blame them, wouldn't it? Or are they genuine, stubborn, disrespectful beings who wish nothing to do with the opposite? Or maybe they're just extremely oblivious to their actions and how other people feel about it? I don't know. I don't think I'll ever know.

I'm done venting here. Hopefully this blog isn't an indication of the types of blogs I'll type down the line(meaning rants and complaining).  I never enjoyed reading such blogs, but here I am typing one out myself.

Whoever takes the time to read this, thanks, appreciate it.

Until next time...

Been more active on LiveJournal recently. I'm finding myself reading total trash and hysterical comments on ohnotheydidnt, feeling suffocated and awkward thanks to alittleawkward, checking out The Beatles icons on beatles_graphics, and looking for a certain friends livejournal. Decided to might as well spruce up my profile abit, add more icons, and make a new blog post.

Will I ever blog again? Who knows.
